From Monday 11th January 2010, A&L will once again be offering new customers the opportunity to earn £100 by switching their banking to the Alliance & Leicester Premier Current Account.
The offer features:
- £100 cash bonus to switch
- 0% EAR typical overdraft with no usage fees on arranged overdrafts for 12 months from when the account is opened (subject to individuals circumstances). Max overdraft limit is £2,000
- Plus free annual European travel insurance worth up to £60 (upper age limit of 65 years)
- and 0.5% AER (variable) credit interest on balances up to £2,500, 0.1% AER on balances over that amount
Terms and conditions:
- Customers will get the £100 if they apply for the standard Premier Current Account online between the dates specified
- Subsequently fund the account with £500 and switch their Direct Debits using the Switching Service (this process must be complete within 11 weeks of account opening for customers to qualify for payment)
- New applicants only, anyone holding or having held an Alliance & Leicester, Abbey, Cahoot or Cater Allen account in the 3 months preceding their application is ineligible for the £100 cashback
